How to Get Over PCD

Are you intrigued by the title? Fret not; there isn’t a personal computer depression…yet, but who knows? With the technology we have nowadays, the possibilities are endless. However, what does PCD really mean?

According to the urbandictionary.com, PCD or Post Concert Depression is, “the feeling of depression after going to a really good concert. Usually involves depression over the fact that your lives purpose is now fulfilled after seeing your favorite band. Also can involve depression over the fact that you might not see that band for a long time.”

There we have it. Most of us teenagers know what it feels like to attend a concert of your favorite artist, and it really is beyond words of description. Trust me, the first words I exclaimed upon seeing my favorite band One Direction were, "Oh my gosh! They're real!" and even after the concert, my mouth seemed like a broken record, still stating those words.

Having a severe case of PCD, in my opinion, is worse than having your heart broken over your crush that rejected you and even humiliated you in public, trust me. Nothing's worse than going back to the place where the concert you've attended took place and hallucinating that your favorite artists are still there, performing. How about waking up in the morning feeling all giddy as you think you'll be heading to another concert but realizing that everything's already over?

If I were to go on with all of the PCD's 'symptoms', I might go on enumerating forever. And besides, the symptoms vary on from one fan to another, depending on how you've prepared or enjoyed the concert.

Anyway, enough with the fangirl feels. How does one simply get over this special kind of depression?

Let's have it expressed by different song lyrics appropriate for each step.

Step 1: Indulge
I wanna take you away.
Let's escape into the music,
DJ, let it play.
I just can't refuse it.
Like the way you do this,
Keep on rocking to it.
Please don't stop the-
Please don't stop the-
Please don't stop the music.
-- Please Don't Stop the Music, Rihanna

Of course, before anything else or might as well move on, nothing's wrong with reliving the moment for a while. Who wouldn't want to experience the same type of euphoria you felt when you heard your idols sing their opening song as you listen to the song on your way to school? No one! Little things like those are still worth it to go through, even though oftentimes it'll leave you smiling like an idiot.

Step 2: Accept

When you're gone
The pieces of my heart are missing you
When you're gone
The place I came to know is missing too
When you're gone
The words I need to hear to always get me through the day
And make it okay
I miss you.
-- When You're Gone, Avril Lavigne

Perhaps this is the most difficult step of getting over your PCD - accepting that they're gone, your money paid for the concert ticket has reached its due, they're leaving, and having the afterthought that you won't see them again for a long time. Let me share to you my experience on my One Direction: On The Road Again Tour Concert: When the lads disappeared in the stage, Best Song Ever played and the fireworks filled the sky, that was the time I felt my knees weaken the most. Most of the people around me were saying, "Okay, they're leaving," but my mind couldn't fathom everything that was going on. I almost collapsed, and if I could only fly, I wouldn't hesitate to go to them and tell them to come back and just never leave.

But that's not the way things should be, of course. As a fan, you need to accept that you're not the only one in their list. As artists, they signed up to entertain people and surely, their fanbase isn't just consisting of only one person a.k.a. You. With that saying, you need to accept that yes, you may be seeing them, but they're not entirely yours to hold forever. Besides, what are fans for? To support them in all their endeavors, right?

Stage 3: Go on

Let's go crazy, crazy, crazy ‘till we see the sun

I know we only met but let’s pretend it’s love

And never, never, never stop for anyone

Tonight, let’s get some

And live while we’re young.

-- Live While We’re Young, One Direction

The best way to accomplish this step is to keep you occupied. Surely, the thought of the concert might haunt you, safely saying, every once in a while, but don’t let it get through your normal flow of activities. Never let your daydreaming keep you from finishing your assignments and requirements for school, or even running errands for your parents. Yes, you love your idols, but keep in mind that they’re not the only people in your life.

Go on with your life! The concert experience will always leave a special mark in your hearts and thoughts, and leave it like that. Never stress yourself due to overthinking whether you might see them again or not. Remember, “if it’s meant to be, it will be.” Just live your normal live, with a new inspiration in mind. Who knows? As time passes by, all your efforts may pay off and you can see them again, face to face, one on one? That’ll be totally great!

“Never underestimate a girl’s love for her favorite band. Never think even for a minute, that she won’t defend them to her death. Because it’s not just the music that makes that band her favorite. It’s the guys, the gals. It’s the fans. People whom of which she has interacted with thanks to the band. That band might of saved her life, or just made her smile everyday. That band has never broke her heart and has yet to leave her. No wonder she finds such joy in her music.” - Alex Gaskarth

CAUTION! TIPS TO HACK PRODUCTIVITY

Maybe it sounds cliché if dancing, singing, drawing, or acting is something you are good at because they are talents and we considered them as a gift which makes us different from each other. But here, I will share something that I am surely proud of because only few people have this kind of ability and this is, “HOW TO MANAGE TIME.”

Here, I will give you simple tips on how will you manage time based on my own routine as a student.

TIP #1: KNOW YOUR LEARNING STYLE
It is important to know that there are many different styles of learning and each person will retain information better in different ways. It will also help you determine how to study, where to study, when to study and other important factors like what study aids you should use and be aware of, and knowing what things may distract you while you are trying to study.

So, my learning styles are Visual, I use images, pictures or colors to help me learn, Auditory, I use sound, rhyme and music in learning or when creating mnemonics I make the most of rhythm and rhyme and Solitary wherein, I prefer to study alone using self-study and I align my goals and objectives with personal beliefs and values.

TIP #2: “WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO DO?”
The first stage of improving your time management is to list absolutely everything that you have to do. This may sound obvious, but speaking of experience, most students tend to leave important task until the last minute, which can impact the quality of their work and their overall grade.

TIP #3: AVOID PROCRASTINATION AND DISTRACTION
Among the tips I’ve given to you, this might be the hardest thing to do, but for me, this is easy to do when you put your mind to it.

Ø  Of course, stick with your to-do list, then, as you work through your day, check off each of the items on your list. You will feel a growing sense of pride as you visually monitor your ever-diminishing list of projects.

Ø  When you have a looming project that’s bogging you down and making you unproductive in other areas, tackle it first. Finishing the largest item on your list of things to do will make you feel extra productive and give you the boost to do other things you’ve been pushing to the side.

Ø  To remove distractions, HIDE YOUR TEMPTATIONS! (Books, your guitar, you cellphone, internet surfing, whatever it may be).

ü  TIP #4: Lastly, MOTIVATE YOURSELF
Many people claim the reason they procrastinate is because they work best under pressure. So what do you do if your projects don’t have any deadlines? Make your own. Set a time that you must complete your project by, and either reward yourself at the end of that time, or set up a punishment for yourself if you aren’t successful in your endeavor.

Ø  Positive reinforcement is the most effective means of motivating yourself. Give yourself a treat to look forward to as a reward for buckling down on your to-do list; go see a movie, eat a chocolate bar, go out with a friend, whatever it is that will motivate you.

Ø  If reinforcement isn’t working for you, use punishment as a motivator. Use negative punishment - taking away something good - to try to work harder. Don’t let yourself take that nap, eat your dinner, or finish your favorite book until your tasks have been done.

No matter what style do we have in managing our own time is something that we must respect of because we cannot force a person to ask them or tell them what they should do with their time, just like what I’ve said on TIP #1, we are different from each other. But the thing is, we all have something in common and that is, we all have roles to perform and we have responsibilities in life (Like me, as a student) that are intended to work on to achieve our goals in life.

How to be happy by Naids Redona

How to be happy

Are you happy with your life? Do you feel the contentment feeling? Do you live your life to the extent? If yes, I think you are really living your life happily. If not, maybe you are just scared to do something new, a challenging one. Happiness is not as simple as you think. You must strive and seek for it. Being happy means finding yourself satisfied to what you are doing, having fun and feel like your life is meaningful. But dont worry folks, you can make your life happier than before. You just have to follow these few steps to improve your life and make it happier.

Happiness Strategy 1: Acceptance
Accept the things you can't change. If you can and want to change it, then do it. If you think something is a little bit off about your lifestyle, then do some changes or rather add some things to have some thrill.

Happiness Strategy 2: Stop! Ignore. Let go.
Let go of the people who are holding you down. Of course, you know who they are. Don't let them drag you down to their misery! Instead of letting them drag you, why don't you drag them to your world of happiness right? Dont let them ruin your day.

Happiness Strategy 3: Sing like a Mad ape
Blast your favorite upbeat song and sing at the top of your lungs. And if you are not still contented on what you are doing, then dance as crazy as you can. Shake off the stress and all the bad vibes you are feeling.

Happiness Strategy 4: *click* Smile!
Smile at a stranger. It will make both of you smile. Just smile and laugh! Share your happiness! Let them feel your good vibes, maybe your vibes might help to improve other's mood. If they won't smile back, let them. At least you smiled at them.

Happiness Strategy 5: No! No! No! Pessimistic no more!
Look at the world as a place where in opportunities will never end. Never give up your goals in life! Dont let your pessimistic side conquer the whole you. Let optimistic side handle the chores you want to do. Remember, it is better to try it than regret it.

These are some strategies that might help you boost your happy vibes in your body. Life is too short to spend too much time in your miseries. If you feel like giving up, let God hear you out. He wont ignore you. Instead of letting your whole day be ruin, just smile and laugh. Remember, laughing is the best medicine in life. Life may be full of loops, ups and downs and challenges, thats what really is. But it is better if you are happy and brave enough to take those challenges.

Performance Level of Performing

We are going to perform our biggest performance in the subject Speech and Stage Arts. We already have our script, our venue, our performance date, our committees, and most of all, our actors. Performing on stage is a great experience yet a crucial one. The stage design matters, the costumes matter, but  most of all is the stage performance itself. We can perform well without the stage design. We can perform well without the costumes. We can still perform well without make-ups. But we can't perform well without performing in the highest performance level. Whether we have done so well with our props, stage design, costumes and make-ups, if our actors can't portray well the character they are to portray, then the performance is non-sense. So, to have a complete package performance, we need to consider the following things:

First, know the whole story.
To perform well of the said performance, the actors/actresses must know the whole story and how the story goes. This is to avoid wasting of time during practices.

Second, know all the characters.
The actors/actresses must be oriented of who the other characters are.

Third, know who your character is.
If the actors/actresses know who their character is, they can do well in portraying the character and they can easily find a way on how to internalize well. The actors/actresses must know what are the characteristics of the characters assigned to them.

Fourth, internalize your role.
To internalize character properly is the best way to be assured that the actors/actresses can perform well in the event. They should know the strengths and weaknesses of their role.

Fifth, work on with your intensity.
The role an actor/actress needs to portray should be portrayed dynamically. If the director is asking for an intense scene, a dramatic scene, a joyful scene or whatever scene he/she asks, they must do so.

Sixth, practice your delivery.
The actors/actresses must deliver their lines as how they want their characters  be portrayed so the audience will really see what the actors/actresses want to express.

Seventh, practice, practice, practice.
Always read the script. Always practice in front of a mirror so the actors will not be uncomfortable to express because they are well trained.

Eight, perform, perform, perform.
The actors/actresses must always bear in mind that THE SHOW MUST GO ON WHATEVER IT TAKES or WHATEVER HAPPENS. They just need to enjoy performing in performance level so the audience will also enjoy watching.

I hope this can help. :)

How to Move On

Valentines Day? Hmm....

Hello my blaudience, so the month of February is finished once again and I know some of you had a great February spending times with your significant other, giving chocolates, giving flowers, having lunch or dinner together, and all of that dating stuff.

Such great times but not all of us had a great month, now did we? Yes, I know most of you had a bad month getting rejected, being heartbroken, or just being plain bitter on the month of love saying "I don't have February 14 on my calendar" like this calendar over here

The fudge is February 14?
Hey, no need to hide it. I know, you know, we all know that you were heartbroken/bitter/rejected on this month and haven't got any idea on how to move on or prolly just enjoy the month of love.Yeah... It hurts right? I know, I've been there. I know the embarrassment of getting rejected and I know how painful it is being heartbroken but really? Do you really need to loathe and be depressed about it so much?

If you are indeed broken and in need of some assistance then keep reading and you might learn something from this blog. Today I can teach you how to move on and prolly enjoy February with even having a bf or a gf. I'll be you guidance, your friend, your mentor, your counselor on an adventure. Join me as we embark on an epic journey full of hardship, pain, and suffering that may lead you crying home to mommy and daddy, a journey to "moving on".

HOW TO MOVE ON

Disclaimer: Warning, this blog/guide is based on the experience of the blogger. The blogger has no responsibility over the consequences that may occur over the courses of action the reader will take on this bloguide. Parental guidance is advised to those who are below 18 years of age. Result may vary so please don't cry at me saying it didn't work.

Okay, so what's the first of moving on? Well, most of the people who you talked to before reading this blog prolly said "Just forget him/her", "Throw away the things he/she gave you", "Avoid him/her at all cost" and this is probably the worst thing to say to a person moving on "Just find another guy/girl." While most of them are correctly, let's be honest here. It's not that easy to move on, trust me I too had a share of those lines being uttered to my face nonstop.

So think, most of them are correct but are vague. The correct way of moving on is thinking what you should do first in order to move on. Educate yourself first before proceeding to the more "advance" method, know that you might experience this and that throughout the process, knowing that would lead to perseverance prompting the brain to think that it's okay it's part of the process. Also use your brain for peepsake, some "method" of moving on aren't always right for you like the disclaimer said "result may vary."
Use your brain this time! Screw your heart!

Instead of directly asking how to move on, know first that no matter what they tell you, you're always going to deny them first uttering this annoying line "I've tried that but it didn't work" even though you haven't really done it nor put any time on it. Hell, you might even say that you'll be back together in no time or say that he/she will learn to love you.

That's okay it's normal for you to react that way it's called denial. It's the first stage of the stages of grief that you'll prolly experience through the process of moving on.

The next stage is anger. In this stage you'll get mad at your bf/gf/crush first saying "Why did he/she left me?", "Why won't he/she love me?" Then you'll blame other factors that you think "might" have ended your relationship such as work, school, friends, parents and other stupid factors that you could think of that probably has nothing to do with your love. Last, you'll blame yourself saying your ugly, distracted, and blah blah blah stupid reasons that would lead to self loathing.

Then we have bargaining where you ask God or anyone within your premises that you haven't annoyed yet that you would give anything just to have that "special" someone of yours. Mostly saying improbable lines like trading something you cherish just so you he/she could love you back. To put it simply, begging to him/her for his/her love. Though you might think bargaining will work, it does but keep it mind that it rarely works and mostly would lead to embarrassment.

Next we have depression where you'll cry a lot. This is the stage where you'll probably look out a window with your earphones on and the songs are from Secondhand Serenade or any other bands that play heartache songs. A stage where you feel like you're on a music video where there is rain and a lot of crying, also sadness don't forget about the sadness because you know EMO-goloid. No seriously this stage is very dangerous because it often leads to lose of hope prompting suicide, seek help immediately if you ever lose hope.

Last we have acceptance, you'll experience this once you done all those other four. This is really the first step of moving on but only truly experienced at the end. Accepting the fact that you're no longer together or that your crush doesn't really like you and being okay with it.

Know this and you'll surely move on

Now that you know what you'll prolly experience while moving on. Here are the ways to move on from someone.

1. Accept the fact

Accept it, he/she doesn't love you. No matter what you do if that person doesn't really like you then he/she won't love you. It might hurt at first but time heals, it really does.

2. Cry

Yes, it's okay to cry. Let it all out. Empty your sadness through tears, relieve yourself from the pain until you had enough crying. You'll eventually stop crying when you feel satisfied because you have already let it out.

*sob sob sob*

3. Don't blame anyone not even yourself

I've heard a lot of people blaming themselves or anyone mostly their crush/bf/gf, some are even encouraging others to blame in order to move on. Well don't, it will only bring up the past because you haven't accepted it yet. It's not anyone's fault so don't point fingers or will only lead to further depression.

No "blaming" allowed
4. Enjoy yourself

I know this is a common tip but it really works. Spend some quality time with your friends and families, have fun together, distract yourself from that "someone". Although, spending time with others is great, spending time alone is better. Being alone really forces you to move on because you have time to reflect and do the things you want. Spending time with someone is good but you haven't really moved on if you can't do it by yourself.

5. Forgive and forget the bad past, remember and cherish the good ones

A lot of advises on moving on includes forgetting but others interpret it wrong. What they really want to say is don't forget that person entirely but instead remember him/her for all the beautiful things you've done together. Forgive them for breaking your heart, then remember and learn from them so you won't make that mistake again. When you know the feelings are gone, befriend them and seek closure. The true way of knowing if you've moved on is knowing that even you're with him/her you don't feel awkward but instead you feel comfortable.

Truly wise words right here

6. Give it time

Time heals, the most common line you can give to someone who's moving on. Surprisingly they're not wrong, time really does heal wounds we all know that but we always misinterpret it. Time can heal your wounds if you do something about it, it won't heal if you do nothing. It might take you a long time to move on but eventually you will, it's all up to you on how you can hasten it.

This ain't a natural healing process

These are all of the tips I could give you for now. There are a lot more ways to move on perhaps too many to list down here so I just put the things that I did based from what I experienced.

Remember, you can move on and you'll eventually will take it from the blogger who took him a year to move on. Eventually he did after some struggle, he's now friends with her and supports her and her boyfriend. Now he made this blog to try and help you move on from a heartache.

Move on guys, you can do it. And oh... if you think you won't receive anything on February 2017 and that no one would greet you a happy valentines day, here's from me to you.

Advance Happy Valentines Day everyone!

How to Ease that Uneasy Feeling

When I was in my 4th year in high school, there's this incident wherein me, my friends, and my other friends had a quarrel with each other. It lasted about a week and it's all because of a lame reason- mood swings,

I know there are also some people out there who are having a hard time in dealing with their mood swings. (I can't be the only one! Hahaha kidding) That's why I am here, to give some tips based on my own experience, on how to handle this mood swings of ours; and ofcourse to avoid those incidents that happened between me and my friends.

First on the list is to stay calm and keep quiet. Hold your peace for a moment, because believe me, there's no good if you verbalize all your thoughts while you are still on the peak of your emotions. It will just add fuel to the fire or in other words, it will make the situation worse or even worst.

Second would be, divert your attention to other things for a while. You may stay away from the things that triggers your uneasy feeling. Take a stroll, eat your happy food, listen to your favorite song, and etc. These are just some of the things I usually do when I feel that my blood is about to boil because of something or someone. You may also think of some happy thoughts, so that somehow, it might help you to forget the things or the people you are irritated to.

And lastly, if those first two tips didn't work, I suggest that you do this third step that will surely be of great help. And that is to talk to someone about what you really feel; or best, talk to Him. We may say that the change in our mood is just a simple problem that we encounter for the day, but in other cases, if it's not prevented from this early stage, it can lead to a more complicated level which is depression. He will not be able to socialize anymore because he already do not know how to control his feelings towards other people. He will isolate himself from the world that he lives in.

So for me, it is really best if you have a companion or a buddy that you can count on anytime, anywhere, from every hour and every minute of everyday. :) So that at the end of the day, you will eventually ease that uneasy feeling you have.

How to be late.

"Time is gold" Yes, I know. There are a lot of things that may happen and can be done in just a strike of time. Every second, every minute is important, indeed. There are just times that you have no control of everything that's happening, or if you have, still, you will choose to "enjoy first and be messed up later"

Like me, I always come to school late. No matter how hard I try not to be late, I can't. As if I have mastered all the techniques on being LATE. You want to know how? Or at least be a member of my gang hahahaha lol.

So here are some tips on how you will waste time and be LATE for school:

SLEEP LATE
I believe that this is the most important among all the techniques. For you to be late, of course, you need to SLEEP LATE. Use all your accounts on social media and spend most of your time there, you can also watch movies for you to be successfull on the first step.

DON'T DO ANY HOMEWORK
After spending your time on social media, You need to prepare for sleep already. Just make sure that YOU HAVEN'T FINISHED ANY HOME WORK YET.

SET A USELESS ALARM
Yes, don't forget to do this. You need to set an alarm that is set, just an hour before the start of your class, so that, the moment you remember your homeworks, you're dead.

KILL YOUR PHONE/TURN OFF YOUR PHONE
This tip must be done the moment your phone starts alarming. You're sleeping and it's being noisy, right? It deserves to be turned off then.

DO THE 5 MINUTE RULE
What is it? It is an option the killing of phone. Yes, I have an option. This best works also when your phone starts alarming. Just keep on saying to yourself "5 MORE MINUTES THEN I'LL WAKE UP"

DO YOUR ROUTINES IN A TURTLE MODE
You need to do your things in a slow motion way, as if you own all the time in the world.

START DOING HOME WORKS
You need to start doing everything after you realize that you only have minutes left.

CRY ON A TRAFFIC JAM
After the first tips, you'll end up doing this. You will start worrying because you will realize that everything is messed up and you can't do anything in the middle of the traffic.

See? Basic. Those are all the tips that I can give to my aspiring followers. Always remember you need to "enjoy now, be messed up later" Thank you for reading this, guys! I hope that you'll learn a lot from me! God bless!
