HOW TO PRETEND

Teenagers nowadays are the favorite subject of dramas such as heart breaks, popularity ranking, failing grades, ootds and what-so-ever major problems you have in your life. Admit it or not, we are all drama kings and queens! Most of us usually act as if everything’s okay to stop those gossip girls from intriguing the issue. Well, the thing is, not everyone is good at hiding the pain and negative vibes they feel inside. So, here are tips on how to pretend like everything's okay.

Tip #1: SMILE!
Well, the only way to hide that frown is to smile. Give everyone the biggest and cheesiest smile they can get from you. (Bonus: You'll kill your haters/bashers)

Tip #2: BE POSITIVE!
Negative circumstances, yes! But they still have a positive side and always look on that little bright side over there. Failed algebra? Oh look you can take it again and master it this time! Lost your phone! Well, at least your parents are forced to buy you a new one.  Your wallet got snatched? Look on the bright side! You helped the dear snatcher by donating your money.

Tip #3: SEGWAY!
In able to act like nothing happened, let’s do our best to avoid the things that reminds us of the bad circumstance we’re at. If it’s a person, go find a new set of friends. You can’t? Go spend extra time with your family.

Tip #4: BE A BUSY BEE!
Make yourself busy to make your mini play of pretending-to-be-okay into I’m-really-okay. This can help us not only to temporarily forget about the negative vibes we’re feeling but to completely forget about it since our attention is now focused on what we are doing rather than being the major drama divas we’re supposed to be.

Tip #5: PRAY!
Of course! Who would forget about this?

“Fake it until you make it.” These tips might be helpful in pretending to be okay, but this would give you a better ending, and that is being completely okay. Pretending that everything’s okay is just a way to get over things and face circumstances bravely and strongly in order to decide upon dilemmas wisely and whatever. But never forget that it’s okay not to be okay for the mean time, after breaking down and releasing all the negative vibes, it now time to get up and face the world! Be strong and be okay!
